Kaharo Jewels: From Legacy Roots to RM133 Million Jewellery Brand 

Kaharo Jewels Sdn. Bhd. started as a traditional gold-selling business rooted in Terengganu’s local market. Initially operating under a family-owned shop, the company faced challenges common to many legacy businesses—limited scalability, weak branding, and reliance on outdated sales methods.

In 2017, we stepped away from the family setup to establish Kaharo Jewels as an independent brand. Our goal was to build a scalable, modern jewellery business—but progress was slow without proper systems, a digital strategy, or strong team management. 

Our breakthrough came in 2020 when we joined RichWorks Consulting Group (RCG). Through business consulting and strategic mentoring, we implemented a structured framework covering branding, marketing, financial systems, and team building.

We repositioned Kaharo Jewels as a trend-driven jewellery brand focused on quality and modern design. We partnered only with trusted manufacturers and embraced digital marketing across Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok—broadening our reach and strengthening brand visibility. 

We scaled from 12 to 35 team members, introduced SOPs, strengthened leadership accountability, and built a performance-driven culture. This allowed us to serve more customers while maintaining consistent quality. We also expanded physically by opening kiosks in Terengganu and Kerteh.

With the right strategy and guidance, we transformed Kaharo Jewels into a high-growth brand—achieving RM133 million in cumulative sales. This journey proves that even traditional businesses can thrive with structured execution, digital transformation, and the right business advisory.
