I am a Business Growth Strategist & Investor, and Founder & Executive Chairman of RichWorks Group Holdings Berhad. Since founding RichWorks in 2008, I have built and invested in businesses that help SMEs access the expertise, capital, technology and talent to grow.
The founders and teams I have guided include those behind PTTI Education Group, Eskayvie, NOIR Health & Beauty, HIM Wellness, Andalusia Travel and Bartech Empire. Across our wider client community, businesses have grown from six-figure sales into multi-million-ringgit operations, with some surpassing RM100 million in sales within a single year.
Working with founders has shaped what I build and where I invest. Growth requires capable teams, financial discipline and resources to execute. Our SME ecosystem brings these capabilities together.
I founded RichWorks Consulting Group and RichWorks Corporate Training to support business transformation and leadership development. My investments include WeFunding Capital in factoring and leasing, WiraGo Express in logistics, and ManagePay Systems Berhad in fintech.
Our associate companies CapM, Venturoso Corporate Services and Mudharib Partners provide accounting, finance, tax, HR and corporate services, alongside fundraising, IPO readiness, restructuring and M&A. Our wider interests span outsourced warehousing and e-fulfilment, advertising, media and PR, AI and technology systems development, and venture capital and private equity.
As Chairman of the Board, shareholder and professor at Innovative University College, I support AI empowerment and work-based learning that connects education with workplace needs.
Before RichWorks, I spent over seven years with Appco Group Asia, progressing from door-to-door sales into organisational leadership, eventually leading more than 1,500 salespeople.
I hold a Global MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester; an MSc in Marketing from the University of Salford; an LL.M in Corporate Governance from the University of Cumbria; and a PhD from Asia e University. I am completing doctoral research at Universiti Putra Malaysia and have been accepted into INSEAD’s Executive Master in Change and Fudan University’s Global MBA in China. My learning interests include AI transformation and strategy.

An esteemed scholar and lifelong learner, Datuk Wira holds a Ph.D. in Business Management (AeU), a Master’s in Marketing (Salford, UK), an LL.M. in Corporate Governance (Cumbria, UK), and is currently pursuing a Global MBA with the University of Manchester. He also serves as Professor of Practice at Asia e University and is actively involved in advancing business education in Malaysia.
