Muhammad Farid shares his journey of transformation — from a roadside chicken seller with just RM220 to building a high-volume poultry processing business generating over RM32 million annually, powered by strategic systems, team building, and the right coaching.
“When I started Payed Ayam, all I had was RM220 and a few chickens to sell by the roadside. The beginning was tough—no machines, no employees, and barely any customers. But I was determined to make it work.”

In 2020, I made a game-changing decision to join RichWorks’ TITAN Program. I realised I couldn’t scale alone—I needed structure, systems, and a clear strategy for sustainable growth. That’s when real transformation began.
Through structured business mentoring and guidance from RichWorks, I learned to shift my mindset from being a solo hustler to becoming a true business leader. I implemented clear systems, delegated financial management to the right team member, and focused on building a solid team that could run operations even in my absence.
The results have been nothing short of extraordinary. From struggling with slow sales and manual processes, Payed Ayam now processes up to 5,000 chickens daily with a fully operational team and streamlined supply chain. In 2024, we hit RM32 million in annual revenue—meeting consistent demand while maintaining quality and efficiency.
Today, we’ve built a business ecosystem that is systemised, scalable, and strategically run. What began as a survival decision is now a thriving business with strong leadership, clear direction, and sustainable growth.
For any entrepreneur feeling stuck or overwhelmed, the right business mentorship can be a true catalyst for transformation. When you focus on strategy, team, and systems—growth becomes the natural result.
