Bright Hill Islamic Montessori excelled in early childhood education with a strong Islamic foundation but struggled with scaling and sustainability. Under Norlinda Daud’s leadership, strategic mentorship and business growth consulting helped the institution navigate challenges, leading to expansion into six branches, serving over 500 students, and achieving RM7.4 million in revenue in 2024.
“When I founded Bright Hill Islamic Montessori, my goal was to provide quality early childhood education that nurtures both intelligence and strong Islamic values. What started as a small initiative in my neighborhood has now grown into a thriving institution with six branches and over 500 students under our guidance. But this journey was not without its challenges.”

The Movement Control Order (MCO) in 2020 was one of the most difficult periods we faced. With schools forced to close and revenue streams cut off, many kindergartens had to shut down permanently. I, too, was uncertain about what the future held. However, rather than retreating, I chose to seek guidance.
Through structured coaching, I learned how to navigate the crisis, strengthen my business model, and make strategic decisions that would ensure long-term sustainability. Instead of scaling down, I made a bold move—I expanded. While others were closing their kindergartens, I acquired two additional shop lots to open new branches.
One of the most important lessons I learned was that growth isn’t just about expanding operations—it’s about building a strong team. In the early days, I made decisions alone. But as Bright Hill grew, I realized that I needed a capable team who shared my vision. I invested my time in Richworks Consulting Group (RCG), ensuring my key leaders were equipped with the right mindset, knowledge, and skills to drive our mission forward.
This shift in leadership allowed us to scale sustainably. Today, Bright Hill Islamic Montessori continues to thrive, recording RM7.4 million in revenue in 2024 while maintaining the quality and values we stand for. More importantly, we’ve built a business that doesn’t just educate children but also nurtures a team of passionate leaders who are committed to shaping future generations.
Business consulting has played a crucial role in my journey, providing the necessary insights to refine our strategies and adapt to an ever-changing landscape. With the right business growth consulting, entrepreneurs can overcome challenges, build strong leadership teams, and achieve sustainable expansion.
Building a successful business requires the right strategies, resilience, and a commitment to continuous learning.
